Last times…

Last time checking as soon as you get up in the morning, how many minutes you can afford to bathe for.
Last time mentally running through the days timetable as you get dressed.
Last time walking towards the railway station and trying to walk at a speed so that you aren’t drenched in sweat before you get in the train.
Last time peeping into the trains compartments, checking if any of your friends are already there.
Last time digging out your cellphone and wallet from your bag as soon as you alight the train.
Last time sitting 5(or was it 6?) in a rickshaw and begging the secirity guard to let the rickshaw go inside the campus.
Last time rummaging through your bag for your ID card as soon as you see the security guard,
Last time trying to get into the elevator, 10 at a time and then not wanting to get out when it is overloaded.
Last time tring to catch a spot in the back of the classroom and under the fan as well.
Last time settling down in class and then poking the guy in front for a pen.
Last time asking ‘Attendence sheet gaya kya?’ as soon as you enter late for a lecture.
Last time scribbling something while standing outside the lab to complete your journals.
Last time showing your empty bottle to the professor and then taking a stroll around the college  in the middle of a lab.
Last time desperately trying to connect to someones PC over the LAN and asking him to copy his code into D drive so that you can
copy it yourself.
Last time playing dumb charades and then suddenly staring at the computer screen with grave intent as soon as the lab assistant
approaches.
Last time sitting on the steps waiting for the other batch’s practicals to get over.
Last time bunking lectures to play cricket.
Last time taking half an hour to walk back to the railway station in the evening on what is really a 10 minute route at best.
Last time cursing professors, xeroxing, buying journal sheets, files and paper solutions on your way back to the railway station.
Last time walking back home in the twilight thinking “It’s been a hard day, calls for a nap’!
’tis the end of an era people…will miss all these times. *sniff sniff*
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to heaven, we were all going direct the other way – in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.
